Although it is virtually certain that Battlegrounds Mobile India will launch in the very near future, Krafton, the company behind the game's India launch, has kept the hype up by dropping hints and teasers. The other things that have added to the excitement surrounding Battlegrounds Mobile India are the calls by lawmakers to ban the game or take more action against it.

Now, a new leak has revealed that the Battlegrounds Mobile India launch trailer could arrive as soon as this week! It has revealed that the company is likely to publish a teaser trailer this week. PUBG Mobile India was banned some 9 months ago in the country.

A report by Sportskeeda suggests that the South Korea-based company Krafton, which is publishing the game in the country is likely to drop a new Battlegrounds Mobile India trailer for the game on Thursday, ahead of the rumoured launch date of the game. We have previously reported that Battlegrounds Mobile India is likely to launch in the third week of June, based on older leaks and reports. According to tipster Sagar Thakur (also known as Maxtern) the Battlegrounds Mobile India game could launch on June 18. The game is expected to launch with the same game modes as the original PUBG Mobile game, which should include the popular battle royale mode, the team deathmatch mode, and much more. However, unlike the original game, it looks like Battlegrounds Mobile India will have strict restrictions in place for minor gamers, as we have previously reported.

Krafton had previously teased the arrival of a Sanhok-like map on its social media profiles. This was followed by another post that suggested Battlegrounds Mobile India could also feature another map from PUBG Mobile, Erangel. Most recently, the company thanked its fans for their support, and asked them if they were “missing their chicken dinner”, a reference to the popular catchphrase “winner winner chicken dinner” in the original game.
