Samsung might launch Galaxy Z Flip 3, Z Fold 3, Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Watch 4 on August 11: Report

Samsung was previously expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Buds 2 and the new Galaxy Watch models on August 3, but a new leak suggests the next Galaxy Unpacked event could be held on August 11.

We expect to see the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 (pictured above) arrive at the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event.

Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event could be held on August 11 this year, according to a new leak that suggests the company's upcoming foldable devices the Galaxy Z Fold 3, the Galaxy Z Flip 3, as well as wearable devices like the Galaxy Buds 2 and the new Galaxy Watch models could arrive a little later than the previously rumoured date of August 3.

Until recently, it was widely believed that Samsung's next Unpacked event would take place on August 3, based on a previous leak, but Techradar reports that Twitter user @FronTron, who reportedly has a good track record when it comes to rumours and tips, believes that the event will take place on August 11 instead.

In order to back up his claims, FronTron has shared a leaked teaser image for the next event that is titled “Galaxy UNPACKED 2021” with hashtags for the Z Fold 3, the Z Flip 3, the Buds 2 and the Watch 4. The teaser poster sports minimal white text on a black background that claims the event will be held on August 11 at 10 AM EST, which means the event could begin at 7:30 PM IST.

Meanwhile, PhoneArena reports that a Korean news outlet is claiming that the Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on August 11 and begin at 10AM EST and will be broadcast live, which aligns with @FronTron's leaked teaser for the event, which also states that the event will be shown live on the Samsung website – which means they should also be available on the company's YouTube channel as well.

Whenever these devices are launched, the company is expected to bring serious upgrades to the Galaxy Watch 4 series, thanks to the switch to Wear OS, which was designed by both Samsung and Google to unify its wearable watch operating system platform with Samsung's Tizen OS. Meanwhile, Samsung is also rumoured to have started production of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 ahead of schedule so it can reportedly sell more units this year.
