FAU-G pre-registrations are now open, head over to the Google Play Store

Pre-registrations for FAU-G are now open on the Google Play Store, so head over and get cracking if you are interested.

While fans wait for PUBG Mobile India to launch, Indian alternative to the battle royale - FAU-G - has kicked off its pre-registrations today. FAU-G was announced in September this year, following the ban on PUBG Mobile by the Indian government by actor Akshay Kumar and Fearless and United Guards (FAU-G) was being seen as the best alternative for PUBG Mobile fans. And people have been waiting for its launch since.

Some reports had speculated that the game would launch by November this year, but looks like things have been slightly delayed.

However, with pre-registrations now open, and you can register on the Google Play Store, the launch of FAU-G should be just around the corner.

FAU-G has been created to honour the Indian Army and the graphics show off cel-shaded animations. If the game goes ahead to use these cel-shaded graphics in the actual gameplay instead of cutscenes, it is going to be interesting.

The game synopsis goes thus -

High up on the peaks at India's northern border, an elite fighting group protects the nation's pride and sovereignty. It's a daunting task, for the most courageous: The Fearless and United Guards.

Join a special unit of FAU-G commandos on patrol in dangerous border territory. Come face-to-face with India's enemies as you engage with hostile invaders on Indian soil. Fight for survival against the unforgiving terrain and the implacable enemy. Fill the shoes of a patriotic soldier and experience the bravery, brotherhood, and sacrifice of the men guarding the country's borders.
