Apple not including charger and Earpods inside the iPhone retail box has already effected some brands. Company's like Xiaomi have confirmed that it will reduce the use of plastic but will still include a charger and earphones. But Samsung might be following Apple's trend more seriously. Citing industry insiders, a news website from China now states that Samsung may leave out bundled charger and earphones from future smartphone packaging. For what's worth, Samsung Galaxy S20 series comes with a 25W charger and USB-C AKG earphones.

Although the South Korean tech firm recently took it to social media, mocking Apple of removing the charger from the box, it will indeed make sense for the firm financially. With this move, the firm could also indirectly push users to buy more wireless earbuds.

It has been mentioned that reducing these components won't impact the environment in a big way. However, it will result in cutting down the shipping costs. Also, Samsung's high-end Galaxy S30 might just come with full accessories while the other cheaper handsets could ditch it. We can only wait and watch.

The Galaxy S30 (aka Galaxy S21) is expected to arrive in January this year, which is a bit earlier than usual launch time frame. As per the leaks, the company is expected to bring three variants once again. We have even seen some renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra and S21. In the renders, you can see the rectangle glass bump for rear cameras that merges with the side. At the front you see the a punch hole at the centre for a single selfie camera.
