Adobe Max 2020: Here’s everything Adobe announced today

Adobe said that the Illustrator on the iPad is available to all Creative Cloud members who are subscribed to Illustrator. It can also be purchased as a single app for $9.99 per month.

Adobe on Tuesday hosted the Adobe Max 2020 wherein the company unveiled significant innovation across its Creative Cloud applications and services. In addition to that the company also introduced a host of new features to its apps including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Illustrator. Adobe also underscored its commitment to accelerating the development of mobile and multi-surface apps, with the official launch of Adobe Illustrator on the iPad and Adobe Fresco on the iPhone.

For starters, Adobe has introduced Sensei-powered Sky Replacement, two new Refine Edge selections and Neural Filters in Photoshop. These features will help users to reduce complex workflows while also giving access to a growing library of artistic filters to ignite ideas or refine images. In the Illustrator on the iPad, the company has introduced core toolkit, 18,000 fonts and new features such as radial, grid and mirror repeat. And on the desktop version of the Illustrator, the company has introduced a new Recolor Artwork feature that lets users change entire color themes with just one click. Adobe says that when using Illustrator's desktop and iPad apps, creators will find a smooth cross-device experience that will allow them to create a wide range of graphics, from a logo to a t-shirt illustration.

Coming to the Fresco on the iPhone that offers users the same functionality as the one available on the iPad and on Windows touch devices. The company says that all Fresco projects are instantly available on all supported devices across desktop, mobile and tablet for a seamless multi-device experience. To the Lightroom, Adobe has released an Advanced Color Grading feature that brings the ability to save versions as you edit images and enhanced performance in Lightroom Classic.

Coming to the Premiere Pro, Adobe has released some major performance improvements including a preview of Sensei-powered Speech to Text, which automates speech transcription from video content and also generates captions and subtitles. The Adobe After Effects, on the other hand, has got the Sensei-powered Roto Brush 2 that selects and tracks an object, frame by frame, isolating the subject automatically with even the most challenging footage. Additionally, After Effects has also got a new 3D Design Space that offers new 3D Gizmos, improved camera tools and more, to navigate and design in 3D better and faster.

As far as XD is concerned, Adobe has released a new 3D Transforms feature that allows UI and UX designers to bring depth and perspective to their user experience designs and to explore UI and UX design for AR experiences. Lastly, to the company has released a public beta for Aero on the desktop enables anyone to create immersive and interactive AR experiences.

In addition to bringing a host of updates to its creativity hub, the company has also introduced Creative Cloud, which is a 24/7 creativity hub with a built-in community to help anyone elevate their skills. New features and learning opportunities include enhanced in-app learning experiences within Photoshop, Illustrator on the iPad and Animate, expansion of in-app live-streaming, which debuted in Fresco earlier this year to Photoshop on the iPad and Illustrator on the iPad and enhancements to Lightroom's Learn and Discover, including the ability to follow others, discover and share presets and create a personalized feed for photographers to discover curated community content among other things.

Lastly, the company announced that the Creative Cloud subscribers, including those on such plans as individual, student, team, educational institution, government agency and enterprise, can download updates to Creative Cloud desktop software today. Adobe said that the mobile apps start rolling out globally today and can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

It can also be purchased as a single app for $9.99 per month. Fresco on the iPhone, on the other hand, is free for anyone to use. Fresco offers premium features for professionals available in a bundle with Fresco on the iPad and Photoshop on the iPad for $9.99 per month.
