Google's Duo video calling app is no doubt, far from what the popular app Zoom is offering to customers right now. Nonetheless, it is taking one step at a time to reach where Zoom is. For now, the app has extended its 32 member support from web version to millions of Android users via its app. It is worth adding that this feature was spotted back in April followed by its official launch in June for the web.

In case you are running on the latest version, you will see a pop up informing you about the new 32 member support on a single call. But even if you don't see the message, the feature will still be there. In the call, you can send handwritten notes, images, videos and audio clips as well to 31 other members.

As mentioned by Android Police, the feature is live on Google Duo app version 92 and v94 and is said to be a server side switch. In case you are limited to 12 members, you can wait for a couple of days before it rolls out to everyone.

Google has been working on ramping up the number of the people on calls for a while now. The earlier limit of maximum eight participants was increased to 12 in March this year. It is however, still far from reaching the 100 participant limit that Zoom gives on its platform.

For now, JioMeet is the closest video calling rival to Zoom as it also offers 100 member video calling in a single call.
