Today was all about Aarogya Setu app, Netflix and Ubisoft teaming up to make live-action adaptation of a game series and Apple buying self-learning AI video startup. What's interesting was Apple being rumoured yet again to bring its own version of Google Search. 

Apple once again hinted to launch Google Search alternative

Back in August this year we witnessed the first ever speculation of Apple working on its own version of Google Search. Now, a report from the Financial Times seems to double down on this. It has been reported that based on the changes and the web search results that iOS 14 gives, Apple might just be working on its own search engine. 

Twitter was down in India and other parts of the world

Twitter was suffering an apparent outage in certain parts of the world. Several users, including those in India, were not able to access new tweets as well as the news feed when refreshed. This affected iOS, Android and web users.

According to a report by LiveLaw, the Central Information Commission (CIC) on Tuesday asked the National Informatics Centre (NIC) that despite having its name on the app's website, why it has no information about who created the Aarogya Setu app. However, the government of India later came up with a statement and clarified it.

Netflix, Ubisoft team up for a live-action adaptation of Assassin's Creed

Netflix has joined hands with Ubisoft to develop content based on the international best-selling video game franchise - Assassin's Creed. The first series in development is slated to be a live action, animated adaptation of the adventures and a search is currently underway for a showrunner. 

Apple buys self-learning AI video startup to improve apps

Apple acquired a startup specialising in advanced artificial intelligence and computer vision technology that may help the iPhone maker improve its own AI across a number of apps and services.
