This year we saw Vivo debuting in the wireless earbuds segment but that wasn't it for the Chinese tech firm. The company has now also debuted in the smartwatch market with its Vivo Watch. Launched in China, the device comes in two variants and have a circular dial just like others coming from Motorola or Samsung.

The 42mm and 46mm dial sizes cost CNY 1,299 and the sale will begin from September 28. It's arrival in other markets is still a secret. While the 42mm model comes in Brown and Orange bands, the 46mm model comes in Black and a darker shade of Brown. The dial colours are either Black or Silver.

Featuring Bluetooth v5.0, the Vivo Watch has a 226mAh battery capacity and a magnetic charging port. The device is said to run for up to 9 days and charge from zero to full in less than 2 hours. Besides having 50 metres water resistance, the smart watch supports optical hear rate and blood oxygen sensor, acceleration sensor, gyroscope, GPS, altitude sensor, geomagnetic sensor and ambient light sensor.

Vivo Watch has a 316L stainless steel body and high-gloss ceramic bezel that encases a 1.19-inch AMOLED screen with 390x390 resolution and 326PPI for the 42mm model and 1.39mm screen with 454x454 pixels for the 46mm model. You get around 2GB of storage, ST main chipset and Apolo low-power co-processor, something that was present in Oppo's smartwatch as well.

The device is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms and comes with company's own Jovi digital assistant.
