Rockstar Games has launched the last installment of the Grand Theft Auto series, that is, the Grand Theft Auto V back in 2013. When and where will it launch?

According to tipster Tom Henderson, GTA 6 will release anytime between 2024 and 2025. This means that it would arrive 12 years after the last iteration of the game. He also said that GTA 6 will release only on Sony’s PlayStation 5, Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S consoles and PCs. Word is that as of now PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles are facing a shortage in the market and so Rockstar Games wants to ensure that there is a big market for these consoles when the game is launched. Simply said, the company wants to ensure that the majority of the gamers have access to this game via these consoles when GTA 6 is released.

What do we know about the game?

GTA 6, as per the leaks, will not be set in the 90s. Instead, the company is exploring new and modern settings for it. However, it will be based in Vice City. In addition to this, the tipster claims that GTA 6 will come with the same multiple playable characters feature that was available in the GTA 5. In addition, it will have a tech-savvy female character. In addition to this, Henderson said that GTA 6 will come with an evolving map that would change when a new DLC is released.

Separately, reports pointed towards an image on Reddit that was reportedly the first image from the game. The image gives us a glimpse of the city where GTA 6 will be based. A predominant number of Reddit users believe that the image was indeed from a version of the game. You can check it here.
