PUBG Mobile 0.19.0 Update with new map Livik will launch on July 7

We finally have a date for when the whole new Livik map is coming to PUBG Mobile! PUBG Mobile has just announced the official launch date for the next big update that’s coming in and it’s scheduled for July 7.

Like it has been with all of the older updates, the current ongoing Season 13 will run for another week post the rollout of the 0.19.0 update on July 7. The new update will come with some in-game changes and also the stable version of the Livik map. Currently, Livik is in beta as ‘Secret Map’.

The official name of the map was confirmed just a few days ago and if you do not want to wait till July 7, you can download the latest beta and try it. But since it is the beta version, you will encounter bugs. July 7 is just a few days away, so we suggest you wait.

The new Livik map seems to be a cross between the current maps that exist. There’s snow on the top right of the map and a desert on the bottom left corner and the rest is grasslands and trees. There was a rumour doing the rounds for a while that the ‘Secret Map’ would be called Fourex since it includes parts of all the other four maps. This rumour was quashed by PUBG Mobile announcing the official name.

Livik is not as big as Erangel or Miramar so it could be a 2X2 km map. This also means that the new map might be the smallest there is in the Classic mode.

The new update comes with improvements made to the topography and the houses and buildings. The new map includes vehicles like motorbikes, UAZ, buggy etc. There is also a new monster truck that can drive over anything. The map also has waterfalls. 

Besides these features, the map will also come with loot crates placed across the area and are loaded with fully-kitted guns that come with scopes, extended mag and foregrips. The new update might also add some new guns to the arsenal including a new shotgun called SPAS 12 and a new DMR called MK12.
