Electronic Arts has released the next major update to the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The company has released the free version of the same on the Sony Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S gaming consoles. The announcement comes with a piece of good news for people who own a physical copy of the game but a discless next-generation gaming console.
Electronic Arts, also known as EA, has announced that it will let users convert the physical copy of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game into a digital one. This would enable users to access the update on their next-generation gaming console and continue playing the game without any break.
“If you have a physical copy of the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One and have a discless PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S, you will need to contact EA support at help.ea.com to validate your purchase using your account information to receive your free upgrade,” EA wrote in the FAQ session announcing the update.
If you fit the bill, here’s how you can turn the physical copy of the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game into a digital one:
Step 1: Go to the EA’s support page.
Step 2: Select your platform -- Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X.
Step 3: Now choose “Codes and promotion”.
Step 4: Now replace Disc with code for your issue.
Step 5: Next, you will be directed to a web form for your request. Fill in the web form.
Step 6: Provide proof of purchase.
Step 7: Once you do that, EA will send you the game code, which you can use to play the game.
