LG launches XBOOM Go portable speakers in India starting at ₹7,990

LG on Thursday launched a new range of portable speakers in India. The newly launched range of speakers consists of four models. While the XBOOM Go PL2 costs ₹7,990, the XBOOM Go PL5 costs ₹15,990. Similarly, the XBOOM Go PN5 costs ₹16,990, the XBOOM Go PL costs ₹19,990. The XBOOM Go range of portable speakers will be available in online and offline stores starting September 10.

The new XBOOM Go Portable Speakers are powered by Meridian’s sound technology, which the company says provides superior bass performance through the Dual Action Bass. The newly launched speakers also come with DTS Stereo Plus and Bluetooth Surround technology, which provides a maximised immersive theatre sound effect and powerful audio experience by widening the sound field.

The new LG portable speakers also come with multi-color lighting which can be changed among four lighting effects through the XBOOM app and different jellybean colour options as well as a wireless party link, where up to 100 speakers can be connected to the same source.

As far as the features are concerned, all the speakers come with Meridian technology, sound boost feature, voice commands, and speakerphone. They also come with IPx5 splash-proof technology.

In terms of the battery, PL2 offers a battery life of 10 hours, while PL7 offers a battery life of 24 hours. On the other hand, both PL5 and PN5 offer a battery life of 18 hours.
