Good news is finally here for all thos people who tend to forget their passwords. Do you often forget passwords or login credentials? If yes, then don’t worry you can save all your passwords and login details in Google Chrome. This will help you automatically fill the passwords and login details the next time you visit the sites. All you have to do is make some changes in the settings of Chrome from desktop as well as android phone. You will just need to enable Chrome’s built-in password manager on both your desktop and mobile. Want to know how? However, before you proceed, read this warning- while this is an easy way to take the pain out of remembering passwords, just remember, if your account is ever compromised, then all your important passwords can be known to hackers. So, do proceed with caution as there are risks involved.

There are three ways to turn on the password saving feature in Google Chrome by using Chrome syncs. This will save your passwords in your Google account allowing Chrome to save passwords automatically to all your signed-in devices. This means, if you enable the option to save passwords in Chrome on desktop, the same will be applied to Chrome apps on your smartphone as well. Here’s a step by step guide to enable Google Chrome autofill passwords on desktop and mobiles.

Step 1:

First, open Chrome on your computer/laptop/windows or mobile and click the three dots available in the top-right corner.
 

Step 2:

Now select “Settings” and head to “Autofill” in the left sidebar. 
 

Step 3:

Now, tap on “Passwords'' and enable the “Offer to Save Passwords” option. You can even turn off the “Offer to Save Passwords” option if you don’t want password prompts from Chrome. 
 

Step 4:

Once done, the browser will ask you to save your password every time you log in to a site. You can also manually view the saved passwords in Chrome.
 

Do note that the process is similar for iPhones or iPads as well. There’s only one difference- on an iPhone or iPad, the three dots menu is available in the bottom-right corner.
