It looks like Google has dropped its first hint on Android 12 arrival for end users. Although it has not been confirmed when Android 12 will be reaching the masses or as a beta preview, Google has silently updated its Android Beta Feedback app via the Play Store, strongly indicating that the announcement is close.

For those unaware, Google made its Android Beta Feedback app available with Android 10 or Android Q, back in 2019. With this, users could report bugs without having to visit the bug tracker website. And in case you have installed the Android developer preview or beta before, you might be aware that this app shows up automatically. The firm even prompts you to uninstall the app once you are done with the preview program.

However, those who kept the app on their smartphones ever since Android 11 beta, were gifted with an update on February 4 to version 2.15. The app was previously on 2.11 version.

Although the Feedback app does not explicitly mention the arrival of Android 12 developer preview. The update itself is a strong indication since the app serves no other purpose but to help beta users provide feedback easily.

Updating the app in February seems understandable since last year too Google dropped the first beta of Android 11 in the same month. And it might be doing exactly the same this year. According to 9to5Google, the company must have also updated the app with new features to improve the feedback process. However, the app right now is not usable so nothing can be said for sure.
