Realme 6, Realme 6i, Realme X get Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0

Realme earlier this month rolled out Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 to its Realme Narzo 30 Pro smartphone. Now, almost a month later, the company has announced that it has started rolling out a stable version of its Realme UI 2.0 on its Realme 6, Realme 6i, and Realme X smartphones.

Realme said that it is rolling out Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update to the Realme 6, Realme 6i, and Realme X smartphones in a phased manner. This means that not all users of these smartphones will get the Realme UI 2.0 update at once. Rather the company first roll it to a small group of people, see if there are any bugs to iron out and once that is done, release the Realme UI 2.0 update to all users in India.

Realme said that users who are using the Realme X, need to ensure that their smartphones are updated to version RMX1901EX_11_C.11 / RMX1901EX_11_C.12 of the Realme UI to be able to get the Realme UI 2.0 update. The Realme UI 2.0 update will be delivered to them as version RMX1901EX_11.F.03.

Coming to the Realme 6, users need to ensure that their smartphones are updated to version RMX2001_11.B.65 of the software to get the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 update on their smartphones, which will be delivered to them as version RMX2001_11.C.12 of the software update. Similarly, Realme 6i users need to ensure that their smartphones are updated to version RMX2001_11.B.65 to get this update. Android 11 update will be delivered to them in the form of version RMX2001_11.C.12 of the software.

Realme has cautioned that after the upgrade, it may take a longer time to boot the smartphone for the first time, especially if there are many third-party applications on a user’s smartphone. The company also said that in order to improve the system operation efficiency and eliminate potential safety risks, the system will perform a series of actions such as application adaptation, background optimization and security scanning. so, the system will occupy more CPU, memory and other resources, which may cause slight hanging and faster power consumption. To resolve all these issues, Realme recommends that users leave their smartphones for five hours after the phone is fully charged.

Apart from this, Realme also announced that it has rolled out the beta version of the Realme UI 2.0 on its Realme Narzo 20A smartphone. It will get the stable version of the Realme UI 2.0 smartphone, once the company has ironed out all the bugs and issues.
