Samsung is rumoured to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge, a new addition to the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. While no official details have been confirmed, leaks suggest the device will position itself between the standard Galaxy S25 and the S25 Ultra, offering flagship-grade performance with a sleek, curved design. With a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, powerful chipset, and AI-powered camera enhancements, the S25 Edge could be an ideal choice for users seeking premium features without opting for the Ultra variant.

Display

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a 6.65-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with slightly curved edges, delivering an immersive viewing experience. It may support a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and gaming, while its peak brightness of 2,600 – 3,000 nits could improve outdoor visibility. Samsung may use a titanium or aluminium frame for added durability, refining the thin-bezel design to make the S25 Edge one of the most elegant flagships in the lineup.

Performance

Performance-wise, the S25 Edge is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in global markets and Samsung’s Exynos 2500 in India. It is expected to offer 12GB or 16GB RAM options for seamless multitasking, along with 256GB and 512GB storage variants. Like recent Samsung flagships, it is unlikely to feature a microSD card slot. The device is anticipated to deliver powerful AI processing, improved gaming performance, and better battery efficiency.

Camera

On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) for crisp and detailed shots. It may also include a 12MP ultrawide lens for capturing expansive landscapes and a 10MP telephoto lens offering 3x or 5x optical zoom. It is expected to launch alongside the S25 series in February or March 2025 and will likely be available via Samsung India’s official store, Amazon, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores.
