Asus on Wednesday launched two new phones, Zenfone Max and ZenFone Lite, in India. Priced under ₹10,000, both the phones will be available during Flipkart’s upcoming Festive Dhamaka sale.

Asus Zenfone Max comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display. It also runs on Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB built-in storage. It has 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras. The phone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
Asus Zenfone Lite comes with a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display. The smartphone comes with Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB of built-in storage. Zenfone Lite features 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. Other specs include face unlock and 3,000mAh battery.

Asus Zenfone Max will be available for ₹7,499 (introductory offer). The official price of the phone is ₹8,999.
Asus Zenfone Lite is priced at ₹6,999. The phone will be available during the festival season for ₹5,999. With Jio cashback offer, the effective price comes down to around ₹3,300.
Asus has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer ₹2,200 cashback on the new phones. It also comes with Flipkart’s complete mobile protection as well. The Flipkart offer will be available at an introductory price of ₹99.
Asus’ new phones come with “Twin Apps.” This essentially means you can dual accounts of apps like Facebook and WhatsApp on the phone.
Asus’ new phones run on ZenUI. The company says the new UI is very light and bloatware-free. It comes with just three apps like Facebook. It also takes a dig on Xiaomi for showing ads within the UI.
Both Asus phones come with an AudioWizard for personalised audio experience. An “Outdoor Mode” that enhances sound quality despite ambience noise.
Asus new phones come with a dedicated Mobile Manager platform. The hub features shortcuts to key tools like PowerMaster Battery Modes, Battery Saving, Notification Management, and Security and Permissions
Asus Zenfone Lite comes with 3,000mAh battery whereas Asus Zenfone Max has 4,000mAh battery.
Both the phones come with face unlock feature. Zenfone Max has fingerprint scanner as well.
Asus Zenfone Lite has 5-megapixel camera on the front with LED Flash. It supports full HD video recording. Asus Zenfone Max comes with 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash.
Asus Zenfone Lite and Zenfone Max come with 5.45-inch IPS display, 800:1 contrast ratio, HD+ display.
Asus Zenfone Max comes with 2.5D glass, 82% screen-to-body ratio and weighs around 150 grams.
Asus Zenfone Lite comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage, and 256GB expandable storage.
Asus is using Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor on its new budget phones. Asus says it will be democratising octa-core processors on entry-level phones.
