Apple iPhone 16 ‘Glowtime’ event set for September 9: Apple Watch Ultra 3, AirPods 4, and everything you can expect

iPhone 16 series will launch on September 9, 2024, with Apple announcing its launch event themed “It’s Glowtime”.  Apple has extended media invites for this special Apple event which would be broadcast from Apple Park at 10 AM PT which translates to September 9, 2024, at 10:30 PM IST in India. Apple Event 2024: All The Devices You Can Expect at Glowtime event

1. iPhone 16 Series

This year, Apple is expected to unveil a total of four devices, including the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Plus. All devices are expected to feature 3nm A18 series chipsets, support Apple Intelligence, and come with a range of improvements compared to the iPhone 15 generation. The iPhone 16 Pro, in particular, could get a 5X telephoto lens, up from the 3X of the iPhone 15 Pro, while the standard iPhone 16 models may have a redesigned camera module to enable Spatial Video capture. Additionally, all models are expected to feature a new ‘Capture Button’ that may simulate the feel of a real SLR or mirrorless camera.

2. Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch Series 10

Accompanying the iPhone 16 launch will be the new Apple Watch Ultra and Apple Watch Series 10. This year, the watches are expected to see size increases, with the Apple Watch Series 10 likely to come in two sizes: 42mm and 46mm, up from 41mm and 45mm. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 may also see a size increase, potentially going up from its current size of 49mm. That being said, we know very little about the new Apple Watches, and more details should become clear at the September 9 "Glowtime" Apple event.

3. AirPods 4

This year, the AirPods are expected to be available in two variants: an entry-level model without Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and another with ANC. Like the AirPods Pro 2, Apple may fully transition to USB-C this time, replacing the Lightning port currently found in the AirPods 3.

Apple Glowtime Event 2024: iPhone 16 Launch Price In India And Availability 

As far as the sale date of the new iPhone is concerned, buyers are expected to get their hands on the new iPhone 16 series phones from September 20.

There are speculations that the iPhone 16 series price may not get a hike or it may also experience a reduction in India.
