Japanese electronics brand Sansui on Saturday announced a new line of Android TVs in India. The new range of Android TVs start at 16,590 in India.

The list includes a 55-inch UHD TV, a 50-inch UHD TV, a 43-inch UHD TV, a 43-inch FHD TV, a 40-inch FHD TV and a 32-inch HD TV.

As far as the features are concerned, Sansui’s Android TVs come with a bezel-less design and wide viewing angle. They come with a 4K Ultra HD display that is coupled with Wide Colour Gamut and HDR10 technology. Sansui says that the 4K HDR display in its Android TVs recreates true-to-life images with a balanced contrast, high brightness and unmatched colour rendering.

The newly launched Android TVs features support for Dolby Audio and DTS Studio Sound. It comes with built-in Chromecast that allows users to stream content straight from their smartphone to their TVs. It also features support for Google Assistant, which users can use to search for movies or TV shows using the voice remote. The newly launched TVs come with a quad-core CPU and it runs on Google’s Android OS.

“Made specifically for the Indian audience with the most advanced technology, Sansui Android TV range is crafted with passion to entertain and infotain the consumers of New India. We have aggressive plans to make India a manufacturing hub for Sansui brand products and would export to other geographies, including the neighbouring South East Asian markets,” Shashin Devsare - Executive Director, Jaina Group (Sansui India) said on the occasion.
