Rear Camera Still no dedicated telephoto lens on the non-Pro model (you’re leaning on crop/“optical-quality” 2x).

USB Type-C USB-C is still USB 2 speeds on the non-Pro line, so big wired transfers aren’t its strong point.

Refresh Rate If you don’t care about 120Hz and your iPhone 16 battery is fine, the upgrade becomes harder to justify.

Is the Upgrade Really Worth It?

Yes, worth it if you want a 120Hz smooth display, need a much better battery, or shoot a lot on ultra wide/macro, it is a better value for the money.

Maybe not if you are happy with 60Hz, don’t shoot ultra wide much, and mostly use your phone for standard camera, social and calling.
