Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 launch date confirmed, here is what to expect
The wait is over for Call of Duty Mobile fans. The long-awaited Season 9 has finally launch date and it is coming on August 16. The update will arrive for both Android and iOS users. Among other new features, Call of Duty Mobile Ranked Series 6 will also arrive.
Call of Duty Mobile Season 9 is one of the most-awaited seasons of all time. The new season was supposed to arrive late July but evidently, it has been delayed. Activision later said the update will arrive mid-August.
There are plenty of things to look forward in Call of Duty Mobile Season 9. For starters, there will be a new map called Shipment 1944. You can read our guide on the new map here. Here's a quick recap – it is a small-sized map set in an abandoned dockyard. The compact design means the action begins quickly and you will have to rely on a lot of light weapons and smartly use the scorestreaks.
Another highlight of the new update is Gunsmith, a new feature that lets you further personalise weapons. You can also unlock up to 10 loadout slots instead of the regular five Multiplayer loadouts. The feature is very similar to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Gunsmith. Watch the video below to see how the Gunsmith feature works.
Call of Duty Mobile users are also in for a new game mode – 10v10. As the name implies, it will feature 10 players clubbed together in a team. We're expecting the game length will be longer than the traditional 10-minute limit.
Another new update CoD Mobile has shared is that the Season 9 will bring new locations for the battle royale players. The new locations campgrounds, dormitory, outpost, and radar base.
Call of Duty Mobile is set to reveal more new features in the coming days. Stay tuned.
