Fall Guys is coming to mobile, starting with China
Something like Fall Guys is better suited to the mobile battle royale platform since it is not as complex as Fortnite and with limited controls on the mobile, that should translate to well.
Fall Guys has been a big hit on the PS4 and the PC and it's just going to get bigger. And it is understandable since this battle royale far more approachable than any other game in the genre and one can expect it to move to more platforms than it is currently available on.
For one, Nintendo Switch could be a big option since the game already has a Nintendo-like art style. Also, mobile. Fall Guys could garner in millions of players if it comes to mobile phones. While we can't say anything about the Switch yet, it looks like the mobile option might definitely happen.
Fall Guys us definitely coming to mobile in China, Bilibili has acquired the rights to publish a mobile version. However, there isn't a release date for this yet. Since the Chinese mobile gaming market is massive, it is not surprising that this game might launch there first.

There is no information about Fall Guys on mobile coming to other regions yet but at least this bit of news bodes well. If a developer is working on a mobile version, it theoretically should be able to apply that work for other regions as well.
But, none of this is happening any time soon, but at least it is a start.
Fall Guys seems to be pretty tailor-made for the mobile version. Battle Royale is a well-established category on mobile thanks to the likes of PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile and Fortnite. Something like Fall Guys is better suited to the mobile battle royale platform since it is not as complex as Fortnite and with limited controls on the mobile, that should translate to well.
Most other games need to limit their matchmaking pools so that the mouse and the keyboard users don't have an unfair advantage over touchscreens.
Also, Fall Guys' has an approachable aesthetic. Fortnite might have simple and cute visuals, but it is still a game where you shoot other people with assault rifles. This is something that isolates gamers who do not want to do that.
It's hard to imagine who wouldn't want to play Fall Guys, there are no assault rifles and headshots involved. And given that, it stands to gain more than most other games by crossing over to mobile.
