Sensor Tower credits Genshin Impact's substantial investment into the game's live ops as a big boost to its success. “Hu Tao's introduction saw revenue rise to close to $13 million in a single day on March 2, while Xiao's appearance saw player spending hit more than $15 million on February 3. For comparison, Genshin Impact has generated $5.8 million a day on average since launch,” Sensor Tower said.
