Garena Free Fire players are in for a treat. The game has just dropped a hint of its upcoming collaboration with Korean band BTS.

The popular virtual battle royal game Garena Free Fire has taken the internet by storm with its latest tweet. The developer of the game has teased its fans of a possible collaboration with the South Korean boy band, BTS. Taking the gamers' excitement a notch higher, the developers dropped hints of the collaboration on the game's North American and Brazilian social media handles. They have dropped a silhouette resembling that of the South Korean boy band and tweeted, “Special surprise coming to Free Fire soon! Stay tuned!” Check out the tweet here

The Garena Free Fire has almost confirmed their upcoming crossover event featuring the Bangtan Boys (Bangtan Sonyeondan). Garena's announcement has garnered an impressive response from fans of the survival shooter, who are also a part of the BTS Army.

Though Garena has not revealed much about the release date, duration, or crossover events, it has confirmed the collaboration of the game with BTS. It is likely to disclose the details very soon. Till then, users will have to wait for further announcements from Garena's side. Players can expect a collab after the Assassin's Creed crossover event, i.e., after March 2022.

Readers who are unaware of BTS must note that it is the septet of the South Korean boy band including Kim Seok-jin (Jin), Min Yoon-gi (Suga), Jung Ho-seok (J-Hope), Kim Nam-joon (RM), Park Ji-min (Jimin), Kim Tae-hyung (V) and Jeon Jung-kook (Jungkook). BTS recently reached another milestone a few days back and became the first Korean act to exceed 1 billion streams on Spotify in 2022.

Meanwhile, Garena announced Free Fire's first collaboration in 2022 with the Assassin's Creed series in January. The collaboration is expected to arrive in March. This will not be the first collaboration of the game with popular characters and fictions. Earlier, players have also seen Free Fire's collabs with Money Heist, One-Punch Man, Street Fighter franchise, Cristiano Ronaldo, McLaren, and many more.
