Microsoft has long been rumoured to be working on a new cheaper version of Xbox console. Expected to launch later this month, the console will arrive as Xbox Series S. Ahead of the official release, a leaked image of the retail box also confirms the name.
Twitter user Zak S was able to purchase the next-gen Xbox controller with a proper retail package that mentions the Xbox Series S, reports TheVerge. The controller is seen in white colour. According to the retail box, the controller will work with Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time the white coloured Xbox Series X controller has appeared online.

Last month, a similar device was spotted online. The said device featured a share button, textured triggers, and a new D-pad. The latest Xbox controller also has the same look.

The recent spate of leaks suggests the controller will hit the retail stores very soon.
Xbox Series S, codenamed Lockhart, is said to launch with 7.5GB user available RAM and 4 teraflops of GPU. It will have the same chipset as the Xbox Series X, TheVerge added.
