Marvel’s Avengers is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X

If you buy Marvel's Avengers you get a free upgrade from PS4 to PS5 or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X.

Marvel's Avengers from Square Enix will be available on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X when the consoles are launched later this year. The announcement was made today and all those players who already have the game will be able to upgrade to the next-gen version for free if they move from PS 4 to PS5 or from Xbox One to the new Xbox Series X.

If you are moving to the next version you will be able to transfer your player profiles and progress too so you can just pick up where you left off.

Additionally, cross-gen play will be supported on both consoles so PS5 players can play with their friends on PS4 and vice versa. The same applies for Xbox Series X and Xbox One.

The new version of Marvel's Avengers that's coming to the PS5 and the Xbox Series X will come with fast load times, boosted resolution and fidelity, improved texturing and armor destruction, ray tracing and more.

The PS5 experience of the game promises to be seamless and dynamic, fully utilising the ultra-high speed SSD, the PS5 DualSense advanced haptics, and immersive spatial audio. To fully customise the visual experience, PS5 will also provide players with their choice of an Enhanced Graphics Mode or a High Framerate mode.
