PUBG Mobile is getting an overhaul with probably its biggest update so far. Here's what's changing with PUBG Mobile 1.0.
PUBG Mobile has announced the launch of 1.0 version that will bring new tech, new user experience and gameplay features. It also announced the PUBG Mobile Global Championship with a prize pool of $2 million.
The new PUBG Mobile 1.0 version is scheduled to launch on September 8. This will be probably the biggest update on PUBG Mobile that's set to completely overhaul the game. PUBG Mobile promises the “most authentic and immersive experience on mobile” with the new 1.0 version. Some of the new changes in PUBG Mobile 1.0 include improvements in players' characters, main lobby lights and environments. With the new update, parachuting, sprinting, throwing and such actions will offer a more captivating battle royale experience.
PUBG Mobile is also improving other areas like the vegetation, sky and water giving them more texture quality. For a better user experience, PUBG Mobile has improved interactions, visuals, motions and sound effects. The interface will also come with visual technology elements, and new colour tones of dawn cyan, smoke grey, hope white and victory yellow have been introduced. PUBG Mobile is also launching the multi-screen switching mode.
“Games, community, and purchases have been separated into 3 different spaces, enabling quick and easy access for players, and creating a simple and clean interface, helping players quickly locate their required functions,” PUBG Mobile said in a release.
As for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship, it will begin in late November this year. Due to the pandemic, the PMGC will not have an onsite but seeing how the situation improves, that may change later. This will be the biggest global mobile sports event so far.
