You heard it right, Krafton will be rolling out the new update today itself and hence, the site is under maintenance. The popular battle royale game for Android and iOS smartphones is down for maintenance from 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM. During this time, the game will be inaccessible to players as the new update is installed. Notably, the downtime could also be extended in case of any issues while the update is installed. The chunky PUBG New State Mobile update will get downloaded automatically, however, if it does not, users are advised to force quit the app or restart the device to trigger the download.

The upcoming update to PUBG New State Mobile is expected to bring new content including weapons, and improvements to the game, along with changes to the Erangel map. The new 0.9.26 patch is aimed at resolving optimization issues, and will bring a new play area called Avanpost on the Erangel map. Other additions are the new MG3 gun, which has a 7.62mm ammunition with two unique firing modes, each affecting the weapon recoil differently. Furthermore, the Vector and Mini-14 firearms will also receive new customisation options that increase the gun's bullet capacity and stability respectively.

Krafton has introduced several improvements to vehicles in the game in its February update and now the March update will bring even more improvements, while changing how firing from a moving vehicle works. Vehicles like the Volta will see acceleration and cornering adjustments, Mesta and Nova have been adjusted to make them easier to drive.
