The successor to PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is set to release on November 11 and bring along a new gameplay experience. With a host of graphical upgrades and other improvements, you will need to ensure your phone is ready to handle PUBG New State right from the get go.
PUBG New State developer Krafton had, however, released the core system requirements months ahead of its release. From the published requirements, it seems that PUBG New State should easily run on most modern-day Android devices as well as iPhones. The gameplay experience could vary based on chipset and other hardware factors though.

System requirements are crucial for players on the Android platform, as there's a greater diversity in hardware. Here's what you need to play PUBG New State on Android.
- CPU: 64-bit (ABI arm64 or higher)
- RAM: 2GB or higher
- OS: Android 6.0 or higher
- Open GL 3.1 or higher / Vulkan 1.1 or higher
Hence, most affordable Android phones such as Redmi 9A Sport and Realme Narzo 50 should be able to run PUBG New State. However, the gameplay experience may not be nice on these devices.
PUBG New State system requirements: iOS
On the iOS side of things, PUBG New State states that all iPhones and iPads running on iOS 13 and newer will be able to play PUBG New State. However, players are recommended to play the game on an iPhone 6S and newer model. Moreover, the modern-day iPhones with bigger displays should help with the overall gameplay experience. Apple also states that the game download size is around 1.2GB.
