Seagate launches external storage drives for Xbox Series X, Series S consoles in India

The expansion card has been designed in collaboration with Microsoft and is only an external storage device that enables users to achieve the same performance as Xbox Velocity Architecture.

Seagate has launched its new Storage Expansion Card for two of the latest gaming consoles in India - the Xbox Series X and Series S. The card will deliver an additional 1GB of external storage for better gaming experience, and will also bring in the same speed and performance as the console's internal SSDs.

The expansion card has been designed in collaboration with Microsoft and is only an external storage device that enables users to achieve the same performance as Xbox Velocity Architecture.

When playing games optimized for these consoles, the card also mirrors the functionality of Xbox Series X's internal SSDs and is also backwards compatible with Xbox One, Xbox 360 and original Xbox games.

The Seagate Storage Expansion Card for the new Xbox consoles comes with a three-year limited warranty and will be available from Amazon starting February 8. You can get it at a price tag of ₹23,499 and ₹22,999 with the promo price when purchased between February 8 and 14th.

In December, the company launched the Marvel Avengers Limited Edition game drive includes four game drives for ₹5,699.
