Supercell working on three new games in the Clash universe
The new Clash games are in beta development, and user feedback will determine whether the games will launch or not.
Supercell, developer of popular mobile games Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, is making three new titles. It will add three new titles to the Clash franchise - Clash Quest, Clash Mini and Clash Heroes.
Supercell in a blog post announced the three new games saying that these are “nothing like prior Clash games.” The company also wants to broaden Clash to new players who haven’t experienced it before. The new games are currently in development, and haven’t been officially launched yet. Supercell said it will collect feedback from players, and accordingly decide whether to launch the games. “If they don’t meet the standards though, we’ll kill them and move on to other attempts – related to Clash or not,” Supercell said in its blog.
Supercell in its blog also highlighted how the development of these games will not affect Clash of Kings or Clash Royale as the teams for each game are different.
Clash Quest is a tactical adventure game that is turn-based where players have to create troops and battle against defenses and bosses in the islands. Clash Mini is a virtual board game where you build teams of miniatures of real characters from the Clash universe. Clash Heroes is a co-op action role playing game where players must fight through the adventures in the Clash universe. Clash Heroes has been created with Unreal Engine, and it’s control scheme is similar to Brawl Stars.
Interested players can sign up to get updates on when these games will be available in their country. Since the games are in beta they may not be available widely.
