Haier launches new AC in India for ₹66,500: Check out the features here

Haier on Thursday launched a new air conditioner in India. The company today launched the UVClean Pro air conditioner in India. The new AC features model number HSU18F-UVSW4B and is available with a capacity of 1.5-ton and 4-star rating at a price of ₹66,500. It will be available across India starting today.

As far as the features are concerned, Haier India says that its newly launched AC comes with a UVC sterilization feature that eliminates all the airborne pollutants without leaving any harmful chemicals or residues behind allowing users to breathe clean air. The newly launched AC is equipped with built-in LED UV light, that kills airborne hazards when the air circulates from the air inlet. thereby delivering healthy air to a room.

It also comes with a distinctive convertible feature that allows users to reduce the AC's tonnage capacity from 1.5 ton to a minimum of 0.6 ton. This feature can be activated simply by pressing the ECO button on the remote. It also leads to more energy savings. Additionally, it comes with a hyper PCB which maintains steady operation of the air conditioner even when voltage drops or increases suddenly.

Haier's new AC comes with a bunch of smart features. For starters, it comes with Wi-Fi connectivity that lets users turn on or switch off their ACs even when they're not around physically. Users can control this AC via their smartphones using the Haier Smart app. Users can perform a bunch of functions such as weekly timer, error alarm, enable group control, set reminders, pre-set sleep curve, and control the AC using the app.

Apart from this, the newly launched AC comes with a voice-enabled feature that enables users to control it using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

The AC also comes with the company's Triple Inverter Plus technology that reaches desired temperature a lot quicker and adjusts DC voltage to achieve stable operation between 140V to 264V with ideal voltage control. Furthermore, it has a micro-dust filter, which the company claims removes dust, bacteria, and airborne virus from the air.

Lastly, it comes with the company's Self Clean technology that lets users get a complete indoor wet wash with the press of a button.
