Lenovo Smart Clock Essential with 4-inch screen, 4GB RAM launched in India
The clock features a 4-inch LED display and is powered by the Amlogic A113X processor.
Lenovo today launched its Smart Clock Essential accessory in India priced at ₹4,499. The smart clock will be available starting 12am midnight on February 19 via Flipkart and company's own website. Available in just one color - Soft Touch Gray, the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential will also be going on sale through offline retail channels at a future date.
The clock features a 4-inch LED display and is powered by the Amlogic A113X processor. It also includes 4GB of RAM along with 512MB of eMMC storage. Moreover, you get a 1.5watt speaker that delivers a peak power of 3W. In addition, there are two microphones that come alongside an inbuilt nightlight so that you can walk around in the night without switching on the main lights.

There is also an integrated USB port that lets you put your handset and other devices on charge. Like seen in Google Nest smart speakers, the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential also has a microphone mute toggle that lets you disable the inbuilt microphones while it's idle.
And like any other smart clock you can set alarms based on your next day's calendar events as well. There is also an alarm for sunrise that gradually increases the color and brightness of the display before ringing the alarm.
The device supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac along with Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and weighs 240 grams.
On a related note, Google recently rolled out an update to its smart assistant that adds a new Wellness section to the virtual assistant's interface. This lets the Assistant show user's health and fitness data on smart displays. The feature is available on Nest Hub, Nest Hub Max and Lenovo Smart Clock smart displays.
