Samsung launches new ACs in India: Here are all the details

The new line of ACs include a total of 51 AC models and they come at a starting point of 36,990 and go up to 90,990.

Samsung on Wednesday launched a new line of air conditioners in India. The list includes Wind-Free ACs with enhanced smart controls and PM 1.0 filters, Convertible 5-in-1 Inverter ACs with Tri-Care filters, Hot & Cold Inverter ACs and a 4-star Inverter ACs.

The new line of ACs include a total of 51 AC models and they come at a starting point of 36,990 and go up to 90,990. They will be available for purchase at all leading retail stores, Samsung Shop and online e-commerce stores including Flipkart and Amazon.

Interested customers can buy these new ACs using EMI options wherein customers can own a Samsung AC at zero down payment. They will get up to 15% cashback along with 5 years of free gas recharge on availing this scheme.

Samsung has introduced an Easy Filter Plus feature that offers the convenience of self-service to consumers wherein they can easily remove the filters and clean them as DIY (Do it yourself). Samsung says that these filters are located outside on the top of Wind-Free and Convertible 5-in-1 AC models so it can easily be removed and cleaned.

The new range of Inverter AC's comes with Samsung durability promise of 10 years on Digital Inverter compressor, 5 years on the copper condenser and 5 years on PCB, along with 5-year free gas recharge.

As far as the details are concerned, Samsung's new line of ACs is equipped with a PM 1.0 filter. Specific models in the company's Convertible 5-in-1 AC lineup sport Tri-Care Filter system. The company's 2021 lineup of Inverter ACs, on the other hand, comes with eco-friendly R32 Gas and is equipped with copper condensers. Similarly, the Wind-Free Models come with motion detection sensors that turn the AC to energy-saving mode automatically if there is no movement for 60 minutes.

As far as the specific AC models are concerned, Samsung's Wind-Free ACs come with PM1.0 filter that keeps the air really clean by capturing even ultrafine particles. The company says that the filters capture up to 90% ultra-fine dust in 20 minutes, which is twice as fast as the cleaning speed of the PM2.5 filter.

The Wind-Free ACs come with the feature wherein they can choose the wind direction towards or away from the user. They come with 10 years of warranty on the compressor and they feature an energy-efficient digital inverter that can maintain the desired temperature without frequently shutting off and on, thus consuming less energy. Samsung says that this range of ACs conserves up to 77% energy, and cools the air 43% faster while also reducing the noise of the AC.

Convertible 5-in-1 ACs

The Convertible 5-in-1 Inverter ACs come with five different modes that enable customised operation from 40% to 120% creating the perfect room environment. It comes with a 4-way cooling technology that enables the AC to cool the room from every direction. It also has the AI auto-cooling feature that automatically optimises the cooling based on usage and living conditions. Additionally, they come with a geo-fencing feature that automatically cools down the room based on the users' location.

On/Off ACs

This range of ACs come with 100% copper condensers. They have Turbo Cooling Mode that cools a room quickly and effectively. They also come with an Energy Saving mode that helps save up to 20% energy compared to conventional window AC. These ACs also come with a dehumidifier and a Good Sleep Mode that ensures that users enjoy a good night sleep without feeling too cold by automatically regulating the room temperature. They come with a 5-year-warranty on the compressor.
