Sony says that due to the new heat dissipating mechanism and dual slot relay recording, the Alpha 7S III can shoot over one-hour long 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 videos. Adding to this is the 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization that aims to deliver a stable shot even when the camera is handheld. As for the screen, there is a side opening variable angle 3.0 type 1.44 million-dot touch LCD that has a revised menu structure for easier navigation and intuitive control.

As mentioned by the Japanese tech firm, Alpha 7S III has two CFexpress Type A compatible media slots that can support UHS-I and UHS-II SDXC/SDHC cards.
