ViewSonic launches LED projector in India for 1,49,000

It replaced the old mercury lamps with LED technology.

ViewSonic on Tuesday launched its first LED projector in India. The newly launched LED projector bears the model number LS600WE and it costs 1,49,000 in India. It will be available with a three years warranty in the country.

Coming to the features, the ViewSonic's newly launched LED projector offers a brightness of 3,800 ANSI Lumens. It is equipped with 2nd generation LED technology, which replaces the mercury lamps. This new technology offers a 30,000 hours long lifespan with consistent brightness over time.

It is equipped with Horizontal and Vertical Keystone correction along with four corner adjustment features, which the company says gives a perfectly proportioned picture every time. In addition to that, it is equipped with Cinema SuperColor+ technology which meets 125% Rec.709 colour standard and helps the device in producing a cinema colour experience. Additionally, it has 360° Creative Applications, which the company says allows the projector to freely rotate at any angle vertically, allowing projection onto ceilings, walls, or angled signage.

The device also has an instant Power On/Off feature and it is equipped with a 1.2x optical zoom lens and sealed optical engine with IP5X water and dust resistant coating.

As far as the audio is concerned, the projector is embedded with a 10W speaker to deliver satisfying audio performance right out of the box. It features LAN, built-in USB power output and provides dual HDMI ports for connectivity and it is compatible with Crestron, AMX, Extron, PJ Link, ATEN, and ViewSonic's vController.
