COVID-19 vaccine, RT-PCR test booking on Paytm: Know how to do it online

COVID-19 vaccine booking for children, RT-PCR test and more can be done via Paytm. Here’s how you can do it.

With the onset of a third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic dominated by Omicron, the Indian government has opened up the vaccination drive for children between the age of 15 years and 18 years. If you are interested in getting your children vaccinated, you can now book the vaccination slots via Paytm. The popular payment app has now started to take COVID-19 vaccination bookings for children between 15-18 years of age. 

Other than vaccination slots, Paytm has also started taking bookings for the RT-PCR tests for COVID as well as doctor consultations and online medicine purchasing. All these services are listed under the Paytm Health section, which can be found on the Paytm app's homepage. Note that all these services will be charged. 

COVID-19 vaccine booking online via Paytm: How to do it

Step 1: In order to book COVID-19 vaccines, you will need to install the most updated version of the Paytm app on your phone.

Step 2: Next, open the Paytm app and scroll down until you see the “Paytm Health” section

Step 3: From here, you can click on the “Book Vaccine” option and the process will begin. Keep all the necessary information handy while doing the same.

Step 4: Note that the section will confirm you age group. While the vaccine slots of children between 15 and 18 years of age have opened, 18+ adults can also book vaccine slots. One can also choose if they are taking the first dose or the second dose of their vaccine.

Step 5: Additionally, you will be able to download your vaccine certificate from this section.

Step 6: Paytm says that in the case of unavailability of vaccine slots, users can book an alert for as soon as a vaccine slot become available.

Step 7: If you want to book a RT-PCR test online, you need to tap on the “RT-PCR Test” option. From here, you can choose from multiple test packages depending on the price and necessity.

Step 8: A 24x7 online doctor’s consultation service is also available under the Paytm Health section.
