Apple has an additional security feature called the two-factor authentication to secure your account. This requires users to verify identity using any of your Apple devices. Users even need this before they make any purchases on the App Store or iTunes or sign in to a new device. Users can verify their Apple ID by following these simple and easy steps

Step 1: Go to the sign-in section on any of the devices that you want to sign in on. You can sign in to your Apple ID on a new iPhone or iPad, Apple Watch and Mac via iCloud website or Apple ID management page.If you want to login to your Apple id on iPhone or iPad, you will be required to go to the Settings app. While for Mac, users need to click on the Apple icon in the upper-left corner and go to system Preferences. You can also do the same on https://appleid.apple.com/ or https://www.icloud.com/.

Step 2: Next, sign in with your Apple Id by using your email address associated with your Apple ID and password when prompted.

Step 3: Next, tap ‘Allow on your trusted device’ and confirm that you are trying to log in at a different location.

Step 4: Once done, you will receive a verification code. If you don't receive a verification code, click or tap Didn't get a verification code?

Step 5: Next. tap on the option to resend the code or text it as a text message.

Step 6: You will get a 6-digit verification code in an alert on your trusted device or as a text message.

Step 7: Enter the 6-digit verification code on the device you are signing into. Your Apple ID will be verified and you will be signed in automatically.
