How to disable iPhone Search Bar on iOS 16
If you have an iPhone with the iOS 16 Beta and want to disable the new Search Bar at the bottom, then look no further. Here’s how you can disable the iPhone search bar.
Apple unveiled the iOS 16 at the Apple WWDC 2022 Event in June. The newest OS from Apple brings a host of new improvements and features such as LiveText, customizable lockscreens, improved dictation and more. Apple also introduced a new Search Bar option which appears at the bottom of your iPhone screen.
Although iOS 16 has not been released to the public yet, Apple has started testing it using the Public Beta mode. Users can enroll in Apple's Beta program and try out the iOS 16. However, since the OS is still in the testing phase, there are bugs that can even break your iPhone.
The new Search Bar option allows users to to search their iPhone directly from the Home Screen. However, if you wish to get rid of the option, here's how you can do it, according to MacRumours.
How to disable Search Bar in iOS 16
To disable the search bar option, open the Settings app on your iPhone running iOS 16.
