WhatsApp rolled out a major update to its platform earlier this week. The update was aimed at the users of the company's business apps and one of these features enabled WhatsApp Business users to hide and unhide specific items in their catalogs using WhatsApp Web or the company's desktop-based app.

“...businesses have told us that they need an easy way to let customers know what's currently available so they don't get orders for items that are unavailable or out of stock. That's why we're giving them the option to “hide” specific items from their catalog and easily show them again when they're back in stock or available to customers,” WhatsApp explained in a blog post.

So, here's how you can hide a specific item in your catalog:

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp Business app on your PC.

Step 2: Now, click on More option at the top of your chatlist.

Step 3: Now, click on the Catalog option.

Step 4: Next, Click on the product or service you want to hide then click on the Edit button.

Step 5: Select Hide item option and click on the Save option.
