How to make the best of Twitter using Lists
A List is a curated group of Twitter accounts. Anyone can create their own Lists or follow Lists created by others. Viewing a List timeline shows a stream of Tweets from only the accounts on that List, making it easier for people to find what they are looking for.
Twitter, probably, is the trove of information when it comes to news. With celebrities, politicians, media outlets and companies all sharing their latest announcements and opinions on the platform constantly, following a stream of information becomes extremely difficult. That is where Twitter Lists come in.
For those of you who don't know, a List is a curated group of Twitter accounts. Anyone can create their own Lists or follow Lists created by others. Viewing a List timeline shows a stream of Tweets from only the accounts on that List, making it easier for people to find what they are looking for.
Users, as mentioned before, can not only create or follow a List but they can also share their lists with other users and pin their top lists in the microblogging platform.
So, here are some tips that will help you organise your Twitter account better with Lists:
-- Create a List: This feature enables users to create a new list. To do so follow these steps: from the navigation bar select ‘Create new List' icon > give the List a name > add description > add people or accounts to it > click Done.
-- Share a List: This feature lets users share the lists created by them. The only condition is that the list that they share should be visible to the public. Here's how you can share a list: go to the List you'd like to share > use the share icon from the top right of the List's detail page > choose from one of the three options: i) Tweet This ii) Share Via Direct Message iii) Share with others via… and you're good to go.
