The application offers several features to its users including Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, going live, among others. Instagram Stories is a feature that lets you share all the moments of your day, not just the ones you want to keep on your profile. As you share multiple photos and videos, they appear together in a slideshow format under your story. With Instagram Stories you can share as much as you want throughout the day. It can be noted that the photos and videos will disappear after 24 hours and will not appear on your profile grid or in feed. Your Instagram Stories follow the privacy settings of your account. If you set your account to private, your story is visible only to your followers. However, you can also easily hide your entire story from anyone you do not want to see it, even if they follow you. While watching your own story, you can swipe up to check who has seen each photo and video. You can add text, drawing tools and even mention someone when sharing a photo or video to your story. Also read click here. When you mention someone in your Instagram Stories, their username will appear in your story with an underline. Anyone who can see your story can tap it to go to their profile. People you mention will get a push notification telling them that you have mentioned them in your story. They will also get a direct message from you that includes a preview of your story. This preview disappears from the message thread after 24 hours. You can mention up to ten people in each photo or video you share to your story. If you mention multiple people, they will each get a message from you individually.
