Finally, the results of the elections in three major states of India are set to be announced today. People are eagerly waiting to get the results for the assembly elections, which will decide the future of UP, Goa, and Punjab. Besides these three states, Uttarakhand and Manipur will also begin the counting of votes today. The assembly elections were held in the five states of India over the last 40 days and now it's time for their results to be revealed.

In Uttar Pradesh, prominent leaders including current chief minister Yogi Adityanath, and Samajwadi Party's Akhilesh Yadav are in the poll fray in the state with 403 assembly seats. The Election Commission will declare the results today for the 117 seats in Punjab, 40 seats in Goa, 70 in Uttarakhand and 60 in Manipur.

Step 1:

First, visit the official portal for election results on the website of the Election Commission of India via results.eci.gov.in. 

Step 2:

Then, there will be two options. Tap on 'General Elections To Assembly Constituency March-2022' to check assembly poll results. 

Step 3:

After that, you will see three options on a new page -  ‘Party wise’, ‘Constituencywise - All Candidates’, and ‘Constituencywise Trends’.

Step 4:

To have an overview of winning parties, tap on the ‘Partywise’ option, which will give you the number of seats won by the respective parties. 

Step 5:

Well, you can tap on the ‘Constituencywise-All Candidates’ options to check the results for your particular constituency. 

Step 6:

While, with the ‘Constituencywise Trends’, you will get a full list of all the constituencies in the selected states. Here, you can check the name of the candidate too, who won from the respective seat.
