Has your iPhone been hit by a slowdown? Well, it might be because of the large cached files that get stored due to internet browsing. These files can hamper the phone's performance and make it slow. Therefore, you have to keep deleting cache from your device's storage. It will not only save extra space but will boost speed as well. Deleting iPhone cache is easy, but it has to be done on a regular basis. However, do note that clearing your cache will sign you out of the websites you're currently logged into and you may lose some other information too. So, before doing anything, check once if you will be affected by that lost information. Having said that, know how to delete iPhone cache.

How to clean iPhone cache from Safari

1. Since Safari is the default browser on your iPhone, start by cleaning its cache.

2. Open the Settings app on your iPhone and head to Safari from the list of apps.

3. Go to Advanced settings and then tap on Website Data.

4. Scroll down to bottom and then select Clear History and Website Data.

5. Choose Remove Now in the pop-up box and confirm. Whoa! It's done. Your iPhone's cache is now deleted.

How to clear your iPhone cache from Chrome

Since we use Chrome for almost all the information or watching movies or downloading files, it could store large number of cache file. You can find it in Chrome settings and delete the same by following THESE steps.

Step 1:

Open the Chrome app.

Step 2:

Select the three dots menu available in the bottom right.

Step 3:

Scroll down and tap on Settings.

Step 4:

Select Privacy in the next menu and then head to Clear Browsing Data.

Step 5:

Select the intended time range that you want to delete cache or cookies for at the top of the menu.

Step 6:

Make sure that Cookies, Site Data is selected, along with Cached Images and Files. 

Step 7:

Now, hit Clear Browsing Data at the bottom of the screen and it’s done.
