Indian Institute of Space Science & Technology (IIST), an Autonomous Institution under the Department of Space, Govt. of India has invited applications for the position of Director, IIST in Level-16 on an immediate absorption basis. The eligible candidates can submit their application online via email till 5th August 2022. The selected candidates will be appointed for a term of 5 years or till the 65 years of their age, whichever is earlier. Do note there is only one vacant seat that has been announced. The selected candidates will get paid as per the Pay Level-16.

IIST recruitment 2022: Eligibility criteria

The applicants must be holding analogous posts or their equivalent on a regular basis or with a minimum service of 2 years experience in Level 15 or must have a minimum service of 8 years experience in Level 14.

Educational Qualifications: Those willing to apply for IIST recruitment 2022, must hold a Doctorate in Engineering or Science.

Experience: A minimum of 15 years' research experience in high technology or in a R&D laboratory or have 15 years of academic experience or must be a Scientist of international stature along with a minimum of 15 years of experience in Research in high technology.

Age Limit:

The upper age limit must not exceed 62 years as on the last date prescribed for receipt of application.

IIST recruitment 2022: Selection process

The candidates will be selected based on their qualification. The shortlisted candidates will be further called for interviews along with all relevant original documents.
