Apple MacBook Air, MacBook Pro and Mac mini with M1 chip now available in India

Sales for the latest MacBooks with in-house M1 chip have begun in India. Here are all the pricing and availability details.

Apple's new M1 chip-powered MacBooks and Mac mini are now available in India. Pre-orders for the new Macs started last week, and you can now purchase them in India. There's a MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with the in-house M1 chip, and a Mac mini as well.

Apple MacBook Air with M1 chip starts at ₹92,900 for the base model with 256GB storage. The 512GB variant is priced at ₹1,17,900. Student prices for the MacBook Air start at ₹83,610. Apple also has EMI options starting at ₹10,934 per month. Apple MacBook Pro with the M1 chip also comes in 256GB and 512GB priced at ₹1,22,900 and ₹1,42,900, respectively. Colour options for the new MacBooks include space gray, gold and silver.

As for the Mac mini, you can get the 256GB variant at ₹64,900, and the 512GB one at ₹84,900. Under Apple's education offer, the new MacBooks start at ₹58,410.

Other than the new M1 chip, you get a 13.3-inch Retina display on the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. The MacBook Air offers up to 15 hours of wireless web, and up to 18 hours of video playback. On the MacBook Pro you get two more hours of battery life. There are two Thunderbolt ports, and 4 USB ports on the MacBook Air and Pro.

Both MacBooks also come with the Touch ID sensor, and backlit Magic keyboard. The Touch Bar is obviously exclusive to the Pro model.
