Samsung is reportedly working on a new ‘Lite' tablet that will come in three variants. This tablet is expected to be the successor to last year's Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Following the nomenclature of Samsung tablets, this one should be Galaxy Tab S7 Lite.

Samsung's next Lite tablet will be available in Wi-Fi only, LTE and 5G variants, according to a report by Sam Mobile. The model numbers for these tablets include SM-T730, SM-T735, and SM-T736B / SM-T736N. The name of the tablet hasn't been specified yet but it's expected to be Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Some also suggest it could be Galaxy Tab S8e.

The report added that Samsung is working on a ‘Plus' or ‘XL' variant for this tablet although details are still scarce. Even on the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite or Tab S8e, there are no specifications known at the moment. But Sam Mobile confirms there is a new Samsung tablet coming soon.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite last April. In India, Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is priced at 27,999 for the Wi-Fi variant, and 31,999 for the LTE variant. The tablet features a 10.4-inch display, and it comes bundled with the S Pen. It has AKG powered dual speakers, and Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound.

On the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, you get an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. It also packs a 7,040mAh battery. The tablet comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage on both the models.
