During the launch event, the company is expected to launch one or more RedmiBook laptops in the country, which are expected to offer competitive specs for the price. The company had hinted about its impending launch during the rollout of the Redmi Note 10 5G smartphone – it teased the phrase “RedmiBoo” at the end of the event.

How to watch the RedmiBook laptop launch event online
The company has confirmed that it will launch the RedmiBook today, August 3, at 12 PM. The virtual launch event will be held on both YouTube and Facebook. RedmiBook laptop rumoured price, colour options in India
While there have been previous leaks and rumours about the launch of the RedmiBook laptops in the country, the company has not leaked any information about the price of these devices. We previously reported that Xiaomi had teased the device and the launch date for the laptops, and it looks like the company could launch the device in a grey colour option. Previous leaks about the RedmiBook have suggested that the device could be priced around the ₹50,000 mark.
RedmiBook laptop rumoured specifications
According to rumours, the company's upcoming RedmiBook laptop could come with the latest Intel 11th Gen processor and a Full HD display. The laptop could come with SSD storage instead of a traditional hard drive, and feature up to 8GB of RAM, according to recent leaks. The RedmiBook could also sport fast charging higher than 45W, according to recent leaks, which suggest it could also boast a long battery life. The company is also expected to release a second laptop, although it is currently unknown whether the second laptop will offer the same screen size and similar specifications.
