The Redmi G Pro Gaming Laptop 2024 is Xiaomi’s bold entry into the high-performance gaming segment. It features a large 16.1 inch display with a 2.5K resolution and an ultra-fast refresh rate of 240 hertz. This display supports Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 400, full sRGB colour coverage and up to 500 nits of brightness, offering gamers vibrant and smooth visuals across all types of content.

At its core is the powerful Intel Core i9 14900HX processor from Intel’s fourteenth generation line-up. With support from NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4060 laptop graphics, the machine is built to run modern AAA games at high frame rates with excellent detail. The configuration also includes 16 gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a one terabyte PCIe 4.0 solid state drive, making it both responsive and spacious for game files and multitasking.

To handle all this power, Xiaomi has included its own Ice Cooling system. This includes a three-dimensional vapour chamber, triple mesh heat pipes and a unique liquid metal compound to keep temperatures low even under heavy gaming sessions. The cooling solution ensures stable performance without throttling.

Connectivity is another strong point. It comes with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, Mini DisplayPort 1.4, a two point five gigabit Ethernet port, multiple USB ports and a UHS II card reader. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 provide reliable wireless performance. The keyboard is full size with customisable RGB backlighting and 1.5 millimetre key travel, offering a comfortable typing and gaming experience.

Running Windows 11 and equipped with an eighty watt hour battery, the laptop is expected to launch in India around Q3 2025. The expected price is approximately one lakh three thousand rupees, making it a strong value option for serious gamers.
