4 things we know about Poco X3 Pro so far

Poco X3 Pro is also coming to India this month (Poco)

Poco is gearing up for an event on March 22 to unveil new handsets. According to reports, the company will showcase the Poco X3 Pro. The company may also launch the Poco F3. Ahead of the official launch, Poco X3 Pro has already appeared in multiple leaks, leaving little to the imagination. Here are four things we know so far.

Design and display

Last week, renders of the Poco X3 Pro had surfaced online. Images revealed the handset houses a circular enclosure with four camera sensors along with a LED flash. At the front, there is a punch hole at the top consisting of a single selfie camera. The phone is also said to come with a 6.67-inch display with full HD+ resolution with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone will be available in Phantom Black, Metal Bronze and Frost Blue colour options.

Camera

The handset is rumoured to come with a quad-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The setup will also feature an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and dual 2-megapixel sensors. For selfies, it will have a 20-megapixel camera.

Performance

According to reports, Poco X3 Pro will come with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 860 processor. The chipset has not been announced by Qualcomm yet. Leaks reveal the SoC has Kryo 485 octa-core CPU clocked at up to 2.96GHz and a Qualcomm Adreno 640 GPU. The processor is said to be an improved version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 and 855+ chips. The processor will be coupled with up to 8GB of RAM. It will have up to 256GB of built-in storage. It is also likely to come with expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card. A 5,160mAh battery will power the phone. Poco X3 Pro will ship with a 33W fast charger.

Other features

Like some of the recent Xiaomi phones, Poco X3 Pro will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the software front, it will have Android 11-based MIUI 12. In terms of connectivity, it will offer a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.0. It will also come with dual speakers along with hi-res audio certification.
